Professional growth and lifelong learning are evolutionary. The CHS Outreach Office's role is to respond to the needs of the community. We welcome input from individuals and healthcare organizations.

Classes are held on the UWM campus, off-campus at the Continuing Education Plankinton Building (CEP) located Downtown, as well as at a number of other off-campus sites. See Schedule of Courses for locations.

General Information
Early registration is encouraged to guarantee space and prevent cancellation. Participants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations should be received no less than 5 days prior to the scheduled offering. Late pre-registration will be accepted contingent on space availability. Enrollment is confirmed on receipt of registration and payment or agency guarantee of payment. SUBMITTING A REGISTRATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ENROLLMENT. YOUR ENROLLMENT IS VERIFIED UPON RECEIPT OF CONFIRMATION. Plan to arrive one-half hour before the program begins to check in.

Fees and Discounts
The fee for each offering is listed with the program description. Be sure to indicate the program number on the registration form. Most program fees include coffee and program materials. Group rates for five or more participants from the same facility are available.

Assessment
Assessment of learning outcomes will be made on the evaluation form. In addition, for all lab classes, assessment will be made by the instructor and/or teaching assistants through observation of participants performing the demonstrated activity correctly.

Cancellations and Refunds
The College of Health Sciences Outreach Office reserves the right to cancel any Continuing Education offering for which registrations are not sufficient to support budgeted expenses. Programs are subject to change. Cancellation by registrants must be received no later than 5 days prior to the offering. A refund minus a service charge will be made. Requests for refunds after the deadline will not be honored; however, substitutions are acceptable.
