Criteria for admission to the graduate program include:
1. GRE scores (verbal + quantitative 1000)
2. Undergraduate grade point average (minimum of 2.75 on 4.0 scale)
3. Statement of "Reasons for Graduate Study" to include an indication of first and second areas of study preferences.
3. Appropriate coursework history
4. Two letters of recommendation attesting to the candidate's abilities to perform as a graduate student and GTA duties (if applying for a TA position)
