Restricted and Unrestricted Gifts
Philanthropy is often described as one of the most joyful of all human acts. The joy stems from identifying an area of special interest to the donor and using charitable giving to produce amazing results.
Each year, hundreds of alumni, friends, corporations and foundations support the College of Nursing through unrestricted and designated gifts.
Unrestricted gifts are used to help meet the greatest needs of the college.
Restricted gifts are earmarked for a something specific (i.e. an established scholarship, a new scholarship, or support for a specific program, center or research).
