Supplemental Instruction Review Sessions
What is Supplemental Instruction?
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a program especially designed for large lecture classes. SI Leaders regularly attend class along with students in order to take notes and keep up with class discussions. Our SI Leaders then offer four (or more) review sessions each week to review course material and provide personal attention to student questions. Our Access to Success data has shown that students who regularly attend SI sessions receive higher course grades.

Get Better Grades
UWM research shows that SI participants get higher grades than non-participants than non participants, and stay in college and graduate in higher numbers.
How do I get involved?
Begin by referring to the Fall 2015 Supplemental Instruction Schedule to locate your course and the available Supplemental Instruction times. You may attend any of the weekly SI review sessions listed for your course. Because SI groups discuss current course content, we recommend you attend at least once each week for best results.
You may also reserve a spot in a weekly SI review session by making an appointment.
Finally, arrive at the review session on the date and time listed in the SI schedule. Each Supplemental Instruction review session will last 50-60 minutes.
