The fall season signals a back-to-school feeling for many of us, no matter our age. At the School of Continuing Education, our classrooms are filled with professionals from different backgrounds who want to enhance their skills and develop new competencies.
For example, recently displaced employees have taken advantage of federal vouchers that support retraining in certificate programs such as Project Management and Six Sigma. Others have enrolled in our Entrepreneur Training and Small Business Management Certificate program.
The common denominator among these participants is their desire to take control of their careers by developing new skills and knowledge.
Because Building Leaders is an SCE priority, we have introduced a new Leadership Certificate program. If career advancement is your goal, then this certificate program is a stepping stone. Choices, quality and real-life applications describe SCE professional development programs, from Engineeering, Business Writing and Chinese.
Peruse our website and see what will fit your professional plans. Remember, there is a leader in all of us.
Sincerely,

Dr. Patricia Arredondo
