  Office Lean Certificate  
In the current competitive global environment, many businesses are finding it challenging to sustain growth while increasing profitability, customer satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. Office Lean is a proven improvement methodology that enables fast and sustainable business results, yielding significant return-on-investment. It is quickly becoming a weapon-of-choice in both product and service industries. Utilizing a cross-functional team approach of people who "do the work," Office Lean enables process simplification by reducing waste in critical business areas and by addressing the voice of the customer.

The course instructors have created a unique program translating traditional manufacturing Lean to other areas of a business where strategic and tactical results are needed.

The Office Lean Certificate course focuses on process excellence within administrative and transactional areas, including:
> Healthcare
> Service Industries (Human Resources, Insurance, Financial)
> Accounting (Receivables / Payables)
> Product Development
> Consumer Products

The certificate program provides a healthy combination of dialogue, case study, and hands-on simulation where students are to see Office Lean methodology successfully applied.

Training Description:

To receive a certificate in Office Lean, participants attend both Modules for a total of six days of training in Office Lean methodology and complete a capstone project with a written report.

The training is presented in two Modules of three days each, scheduled about a month apart. The next series of two Modules starts on November 10, 2009. This will be the third series of this certificate program.
