  Robert Baylerian  
BloodCenter of Wisconsin

Bob Baylerian is a Quality and Lean Specialist for the Diagnostic Laboratories at BloodCenter of Wisconsin. After graduating from Marquette University, Bob joined the BloodCenter of Wisconsin in 1974 when it was still The Milwaukee Blood Center. Bob has worked in the Donor Processing, Immunoglobulin Research, Histocompatibility Testing laboratories, and supervised two laboratories before joining Diagnostic Laboratories Quality in 2005. Trained through GE in Change Acceleration Process and Work-Out" facilitation, Bob became a Certified Quality Improvement Associate through the American Society for Quality in 2006 and earned his Six Sigma Black Belt through UWM in the spring of 2008. His recent involvement in process improvement includes improving the true capacity of a DNA Sequencing instrument in the Histocompatibility Laboratory by 60% and reducing the turn-around time of results reporting in the Diagnostic Laboratories.

In his spare time, Bob enjoys spending time with his wife, Diane, and golden retriever,Abby, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles, reading, and bow hunting.
