Howard L. Bernstein is a Partner in the Labor and Employment Law Department of the law firm Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg in Chicago, Illinois. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas Law School. Howard concentrates solely in representing employers throughout the country in labor relations and employment law matters with emphasis on National Labor Relations Board proceedings, contract negotiations, arbitrations and injunction proceedings, union election campaigns, unfair labor practice cases and wrongful discharge cases.
He is a member of the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce Human Resources Committee and is on the advisory board of the Center for Employment Dispute resolution. A member of the American Bar Association Labor Law Section, he was the Program Chairman of its Committee on Development of the Law Under the National Labor Relations Act.
