Dr. Tom Bachhuber is Director of The Career Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. CDC is a comprehensive career counseling and placement resource for UWM students and alumni. Previously, he was Vice President for University Resources for National Corporate College Consultants (NC3) and Managing Director for Management Alliance Group, Inc. where he designed and developed the University Resources Practice at both firms, providing training, research and recruitment services to companies like Pfizer, Kraft Foods, Merck & Company, Pepsi Cola Bottling Group, McKesson Supply, Sara Lee, Phillips Electronics, Schering-Plough, Deloitte & Touche and Nabisco.

His background in higher education includes eight years and tenure as Director of the Career Development Center at the University of Maryland and Assistant Dean/Director at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Dr. Bachhuber's publications include five books and over 20 articles including "Directions: a Guide to Career Planning" (Houghton-Mifflin), "A Parents Guide to Helping their Children with Educational and Career Decisions" (Abbey Press) and "The Best Graduate Business Schools" (Macmillan/Simon Schuster, 1994, 1996, 1999).

Tom's Doctorate and Masters in Counseling are from the University of Virginia.
