English as a Second Language instruction since 1994, working with beginning to advanced ESL students, and travel in Thailand, Africa, and Europe help me use teaching skills to assist adults with language barriers. Students develop English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills to benefit themselves, their home, work and community.

Educational background includes Bachelor of Arts, Post Graduate studies, and Special Education certification. Current certification in ESL is with The Wisconsin Technical College System.

Employment and memberships have or currently include the following: Milwaukee Area Technical College ESL Instructor, Wisconsin Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages, TESOL, Adult Literacy Coordinator, Literacy Council of Southeastern Wisconsin, and writer for The Key, an adult education newspaper.
