| The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards through the Approved Continuing Education program. The School is recognized by the National Board of Certified Counselors to offer continuing education for National Certified Counselors. It is also recognized by the American Psychological Association-Wisconsin Chapter to offer continuing education for psychologists. CEUs: The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee defines one (1.0) continuing education unit (CEU) as ten (10) hours of participant effort in an organized continuing education experience. For example: 1.2 CEUs equals 12 hours of continuing education credits.
