
The UWM Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is a membership organization for adults over 50 who understand quality of life is enhanced through lifelong learning.
As an Osher member you can take short courses, go on local tours, attend special events, join an informal interest group, and network at social events. These rich and varied learning experiences are tailored to meet the changing interests of members, whether in literature, art, history, language, politics or science.
Anyone over 50 years old who has a passion for learning can join. Osher is for people of all educational backgrounds. You do not need to be a UWM graduate or otherwise associated with the University. There are numerous benefits to becoming a member from meeting other like-minded people to learning a new subject to enjoying a 20% discount on Arts, Humanities and Science classes at the School of Continuing Education.
Joining Osher is the perfect way to expand your knowledge while meeting over 400 other like-mined, active, older adults.
The annual fee is $40 per person. Membership includes participation in any Special Interest Group, however, there is a nominal fee for short courses.
