| Kathy has been with UWM since 1970, starting her career as an accountant for Auxiliary Services. She moved to what is now called the School of Continuing Education in 1980 as an Assistant to the Dean, and was promoted to Assistant Dean in 1986. During her years with the school, it has grown from an organization of about 20 employees with an annual budget of $3M to one with more than 80 employees, hundreds of part-time staff and a budget over $12M. In her role as Assistant Dean, Kathy is responsible for the financial, budget, personnel and administrative activities of the School. She is a graduate of the UWM Lubar School of Business. In 2009 she was the recipient of the UW-Extension Chancellor's Career Award. |
