Graphic designer by day, biker chic by night (Gloria's favorite Milwaukee hangout is the back of her husband's Harley). For the last 16 years, Gloria's work at SCE can be defined by "do the best you can, then do more." Her ability to engage on a personal level with her customers has afforded her many great relationships with colleagues. Inspired by her favorite childhood memory of remodeling the basement with her dad, Gloria originally aspired to be an architect. The loss of the UWM Architecture program was SCE's gain-after not getting into the program's second level, Gloria decided a career in graphic design was her calling (decent fall back career, we think). Although she wishes she had the skill to creatively write, desires superhuman strength that could only be used in darkness, and speaks spanglish when she gets excited, Gloria enjoys her job as a designer and it shows in her work. |
