Mariann Maris has over 30 years of experience teaching writing to people
of all ages and professional backgrounds. She is an ad hoc instructor
in the UWM School of Continuing Education and is a Senior Lecturer in
the English Department of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where
she teaches Business Writing courses and a Freshman Seminar on
baseball. In addition to teaching public courses on business writing,
emails, proofreading and editing, Maris has taught customized courses
for accountants, sales people, public administrators and engineers. She
is Director of The Milwaukee Area Academic Alliance in English and has
been on the Planning Committee and was Coordinator of the Virginia Burke
First-year Composition Writing awards. |
